Silverton, Oregon became my home town in 1997. Busy raising three boys and enjoying being the wife of a Salem fire fighter, I've loved being close to family in this community (they discovered Silverton many years prior). In 2006 I began teaching kindergarten at Evergreen. Prior to that I taught seven years at Pooh's Corner Preschool, and seven years in rural Big Bear, California teaching first and third grades. What a joy your children are!
All of my boys have graduated from Silverton high school and continue to be amazing young men, learning, and venturing out on their own. I enjoy reading, hiking, and biking. Summers find me trying new adventures with my husband or some favorites (like entering a Sprint triathlon or kayaking on the reservoir).
Teaching is a wonderful adventure! I enjoy seeing the world through the eyes of your children, exploring new things, and conquering new heights. Let the journey begin!
